Were you bullied in school?
Yes, mostly it was teasing, but I remember being beaten up on the playground in 3rd grade.

How do you drive?
I sit on a raised cushion so I can see over the windshield. Then I have petal extensions that are hooked onto the break and gas petals so I can drive.

Do you like being a little person?
Absolutely YES! Even though it has some challenges and I have overcome many surgeries, I would not change it. Being different is who I am and I have had some unique experiences (including motivational speaking) that I would not get to do if I was six feet tall.

What are your favorite sports teams?
I am an Arizona native, so I like all the local teams. My favorite team is the Phoenix Suns and my favorite college team is University of Arizona. Go Cats!

Who are your role models and why?
I would say my parents first. They always have been there for me, even in some tough times in my life. They always encouraged me to try new things and never give up.

What do you like best about speaking to groups or people?
I love making a difference in the world. I feel like my life experiences have given me a unique platform to make help others and make people more accepting of differences in the world. Different is good!
